So is anything being done here? I can see two possible (easy) solutions:
1) Simply use gksudo in the .desktop file to necessitate root privs to run it
2) (probably better) Integrate policykit into it for those functions, since by default, normal users can't kill/re-nice other users' procs
Am I missing anything?
