Can you still reproduce this? Please install clean edgy instalal
packages that failed to upgrade than try dist-upgrade or use update-
manager to upgrade(this is preferred way for upgrading release to
release)

After doing that please attach all file in /var/log/dist-upgrade so we
can see what the issue is.
