Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: cacti

I am running Ubuntu 8.04.2, fully updated as of 2009-02-06.

I'm using LigHTTPd (1.4.19-0ubuntu3) with php5 (5.2.4-2ubuntu5.4) and
when I tried to install cacti (0.8.7b-2ubuntu1) aptitude wanted to
install apache2. I don't want to use apache2 because I have lighttpd
installed.

According to this howto (
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=643976 ) there should be a
dialog from where I can choose to ignore apache2, but I didn't get any
dialog when I tried to install cacti. A log from my install is attached.

This bug might also be related to bug #29008.

I would be glad if someone could fix this dependency-issue, thanks!
