This is a bug in webkit and is solved by updating to a more recent
webkit version from the webit ppa

I dont hold much hope that an updated webkit version will get into
intrepid nor jaunty. Perhpas you could file a bug to ensure that the
webkit release in the webit ppa gets into universe for jaunty
