[Bug 324717] [NEW] Gnome 'Places' menu gives focus to previous nautilus window as well as new

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-main-menu

In Jaunty (gnome), when you open a new nautilus window via the Places
menu, the previously opened nautilus window comes to the front, then the
new window comes to the front. (This is a regression.)

To reproduce:

1. Open a firefox window.

2. Open a nautilus window and click on firefox to bring it to the front.

3. Open another nautilus window via the Places menu.

Result: firefox is moved behind the window opened in (2), and then the
window in (3) is brought to the front. (Note that this doesn't happen if
you minimize the window in (2) before doing 3, and it doesn't happen if
you open nautilus via gnome-terminal.)

Expected result (as in previous versions of Ubuntu): (2) should stay
behind firefox and (3) should be brought to the front. It's confusing to
have the window from (2) move to the front because it appears this is
the new window opened via the Places menu.

ubuntu 9.04
nautilus 1:2.25.4-0ubuntu1
gnome-utils 2.25.2-0ubuntu1
gnome-menu 2.25.5-0ubuntu1

** Affects: gnome-main-menu (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
