To save us having to look up the package versions available when you
posted this bug, can you please post them here, including the output of
uname -srm and the version of Banshee you are using.  Please also attach
the output of lsusb when the phone is attached.

I note that Banshee 1.5.2 was released on November 20, 2009 and made
available in the Banshee Team PPA at https://edge.launchpad.net
/~banshee-team/+archive/ppa on December 17, 2009.  The "Other
Enhancements" section of the release notes at http://banshee-
project.org/download/archives/1.5.2/ include the following statement:
