Binary package hint: bristol

bristol will not start

I'm running kubuntu 9.10 The Karmic Koala 64bit

The version of the package is bristol 0.40.1-0.1

I can report some script output:

salvo at piera-laptop:~$ startBristol -b3

if I try to use jack driver the output is the following:

when I use alsa the output is the same to the first output:

If i add the -libtest option, bristol stars the GUI but there is not any
sound out, and the output of the shell is this:
