[Bug 438366] Re: software-center crashed with AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'Element'

python -c "import gst"  gives me
AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'Element'

for all user, not only for root.
I get the bug only with python-dev installed, without it the problem doesn't occur.
