Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: mythtv

Ubuntu release: 9.10(karmic)
package mythtv-database 0.22.0+fixes22594-0ubuntu1

Attempting to install MythTV from Ubuntu Software Center.

In the setup dialog, I checked the box indicating that there were other
MythTV servers/front-ends available.

At the configuration step for mysql database, used the default options
(my computer for the mysql server location and 'Debian-sys-maint' as the
mysql administrator account). clicked on the Forward button but nothing
seemed to happen. Waited several minutes then changed the mysql
administrator account name to 'root' (based on the Help suggestion) and
clicked on Forward button again but still nothing. At that point I was
forced to click on the Cancel button.

Note: I wanted to install only front-end but wasn't given that option
(even though the title is "MythTV Frontend").
