[Bug 500556] [NEW] the karmic version in the repository is out of date

Public bug reported:

the version in the karmic repository is of Jan 2009 - there have been
two subsequent releases in the http://code.google.com/p/google-gadgets-
for-linux/ repository.

Can i suggest either karmic should have an update via backports or at
the very least Lucid should get the latest version available.
