[Bug 500413] [NEW] Video output dims on file change

Binary package hint: gnome-mplayer

When moving from one file to another (at least that's when I've
noticed), the video output settings change to result in a dim playback,
as if the brightness is down a few points. Going to video output
settings and changing the brightness slider to any setting and back to
zero fixes the problem.
