I've marked this report as duplicate of 480455 because, from your log file, the error is:

Setting up openmpi-bin (1.3.2-3ubuntu1) ...
update-alternatives: error: alternative mpiexec can't be master: it is a slave of mpirun
dpkg: error processing openmpi-bin (--configure):
 subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2

and it's been reported against openmpi. There is no error regarding
ubuntustudio.

However if you believe this is not the main issue that you're
experiencing, I have no clue about what's been wrong and let a triager
more knowledgeable than me with Ubuntustudio and preseed handle this
report.
