I then un-installed libdvdcss along with k9copy. Reinstalled libdvdcss and then ran:
 sudo /usr/share/doc/libdvdread4/install-css.sh

re-installed K9copy and inserted a encrypted dvd and it seems to work
without crashing. However, in the past the assistant would work. It
would work once and then not seem to work again. Maybe something with
the dvd-reader it self....Not sure if something gets loaded into the dvd
player that makes it act strange.
