Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: epos
When installing epos and running say from the command line, no sound is
generated. Erroneous default config or missing dependency?
How to replicate: on a freshly updated 9.10 install, sudo aptitude
install epos then
$ say Test
tes%t^######T
Could not open localsound device, error 2
Client side error: Could not set up a stream
