Hi Samia,

Thanks very much for reporting this bug.  You're running a very old
version of Ubuntu ("Feisty Fawn" from April 2007), which has reached the
end of its life and is no longer supported.  That's probably why you're
also having trouble upgrading automatically.

The best solution is for you to back up all of your documents, download
the latest Ubuntu installation CD from http://www.ubuntu.com/ and try a
fresh installation of Ubuntu, using that CD.

Alternatively, you could try upgrading your computer by following the
instructions at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EOLUpgrades/Feisty

Once you have upgraded your version of Ubuntu, please could you let us
know if the problem with Facebook still exists?
