[Bug 497012] [NEW] amsn does not save all settings correctly on ubuntu karmic

Binary package hint: amsn

i updated the machine of my brother from jaunty to karmic.

but suddenly, amsn stops working correctly.

his screen-name is being reset to default every-time he logs in, and
when i chance screen-mode to "sort on status", amsn constantly reverts
back to "hybrid mode".

i needed to use the back-up configuration map in order to set its
settings normal again. but when i chance any setting, the problem does
occur again.
