Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: startupmanager

When altering screen resolutions in the Startup-Manager GUI, the grub config file is amended to include code such as:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX=" vga=792 splash"

However, when booting, grub reports to the user that "vga792 has been
deprecated, please use gfxpayload=1024x768x24,1024x768 splash instead.

Surely, if grub knows that defining one's screen resolution by the vga
command has been deprecated, shouldn't startupmanager also know it?

It's not a show-stopper sort of bug obviously, but it's irritating and
perhaps worrying for linux noobs. Also, if one became accustomed to
ignoring the message upon boot, one might miss another message that was
actually valuable.

This is in Ubuntu 9.10 karmic (fresh install) with grub
1.97~beta4-1ubuntu4.1 and startupmanager 1.9.12-1ubuntu1.
