I don't know. Maybe you are right. I am patching other packages with
similar bugs and I have found some with numbers and some with defines.
Even more, for example g15daemon package has some open() with numbers
and other with defines in the same file.

Anyway I'm not losing any sleep over it because the patch has to be
propagated to debian and later upstream, so any of the programers will
change it as he prefers ;-).

Now I do not know if it is prefered to be one or the other for the
next patch, so if you find it, please tell me.
