[Bug 469875] Re: Audacious2 very slow to respond in Karmic unlike Audacious in Jaunty

This issue doesn't happen with other streaming media players like
Amarok, Kaffeine or VLC on the same machine. It can take up to a minute
for Audacious2 to respond and start streaming media from active playlist
file links. This does not happen when using the release for Ubuntu
Jaunty Jackalope 9.04 and the identical playlist files. I have a 3.2 Ghz
Pentium 4 system, with 2Gb SDRAM and 80Gb hard disk with a GForce 6500
256Mb graphics  card.
