2.6.31-15-generic x86_64 is what I already had and is what is still installed.
(guests) XPpro sluggish, Vista all but useless, Karmic is even effected.  All of them 64 bit.  Select (1) processor helps, but the timing is still off.  You can actually hear it in the start up sounds.

This was a clean install (Native host) after the release and I keep it updated.
All clients are up-to-date and were installed clean as well.  

I even scrubbed the drive and started over using 9.04 64 bit and it was as fast as native using multiple processors.
I updated that install and 64 bit was useless with multiple processors.

Cleaned the drive again, Installed 9.10 and here I am.  I read about one
fixing this by compiling their kernel to the 250 Hz host frequency
timer, and resolved their problem.  Is there anyway that one can set a
boot parm to achieve this without going through the process of compiling
a special kernel? Or is there thought of including another kernel for
the ones that do use VirtualBox?  Seems that since it is included in the
Repo it should be supported.
