Works fine for me.
In your dependancies I find:

mplayer 2:1.0~rc3+svn20090620~karmic~ppa4
mplayer-nogui 3:1.0~svn-r29882-1

Which one did you install? Can you try the one in the karmic repo
(2:1.0~rc3+svn20090426-1ubuntu10)?
