[Bug 490892] [NEW] Cannot un-install (completely remove) wine

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: wine

I installed wine through the Synaptic Package Manager, and tried to
install ITunes. iTunes didn't work, and I tried to completely remove
wine, but wine is left on my menus along with all the iTunes junk. None
of it works.

I would expect when you completely remove and application the Synaptic
Package manger would completely remove it from the system, including the
menus
