[Bug 418879] [NEW] seahorse fails with concurrent ssh connections

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: seahorse

I regularly perform parallel ssh connections to administer multiple
hosts, using RSA authentication + a ssh agent. When using seahorse's ssh
agent, the agent seems to fail when performing multiple simultaneous
connections. Specifically, some connections are unable to contact the
agent, causing openssh to try password authentication instead. However,
the agent doesn't crash -- it's just some of the concurrent clients
aren't able to connect.

If it helps for reproducing, I use the parallel-ssh package. The problem
seems to happen fairly reliably when using parallelism of 8 or more.

This is seahorse 2.26.1-0ubuntu1 on jaunty+updates. I've also tried a
backported 2.27.90-0ubuntu1 from karmic with the same problem.

Using a regular ssh-agent instead of seahorse (e.g. by removing
60seahorse-plugins from /etc/X11/Xsession.d) is a reasonable workaround
for me but I thought I'd report the seahorse bug anyway.

This sounds superficially like bug #352154, but I suspect it's unrelated
both because seahorse doesn't crash, and because I'm not running a gpg-
agent.

** Affects: seahorse (Ubuntu)
