Thank you for filing a new bug report instead of keeping commenting on
bug 257894. That makes it easier to analyze.

At this time, we have a much better chance of fixing bugs in the
upcoming Karmic than in Jaunty. It would therefore be nice if you could
test with Karmic (e.g. a LiveCD from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/9.10/ or http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
/daily-live/) and do an `apport-collect 416668` from Karmic to give us
the logs from there.
