[Bug 415941] [NEW] grub legacy as install option

Binary package hint: grub2

not really a bug but a request. since grub2  is (how do I put this
diplomatically) sorely immature but going to be the default for karmic
anyway, couldn't we leave grub proper in as an install option like ext4
vs ext3 ? editing grub used to be soooo easy ("sudo gedit
/boot/grub/menu.lst", type, save, close). editing grub2 is like playing
Cluedo in Latin. isn't Linux all about choice?
