Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-shell

I have the jhbuild of shell working for a few months now without
problems. I wanted to try out the package from the repo. I got this
output after a screen flicker.

shane at shane-laptop:~$ gnome-shell --replace
JS ERROR: !!! REPORTED: 'reserved slot index out of range'
JS ERROR: !!! REPORTED: file '(null)' line 0 exception 0 number 166
Failed to init standard javascript classes

shane at shane-laptop:~$ Window manager warning: Screen 0 on display ":0.0" already has a window manager; try using the --replace option to replace the current window manager.
Cannot register the panel shell: there is already one running.
