I did some digging through lp and found several similar bugs> 
every bug is reported in different package! but stacktrace seems to be the same crash.

when i reported the bug the first time i came across > totem Bug #175272 [invalidated due to lack of info]
second time i had the crash > the bug got reported in gstreamer-* ! Bug #410923

other bugs > 
totem-gstreamer crashed with SIGSEGV > Bug #195810
totem-gstreamer crashed with SIGSEGV in mms_connect() > Bug #377710
totem-plugin-viewer crashed with SIGSEGV in mms_connect() > Bug #351496

are all dups of Bug #195810 ?

why is apport reporting them in the wrong packages ?
