Under kde 4.3 its possible to install stasks, but once it's added to a
panel it allocates space but will stay blank. No windows is shown
inside.

is  a patched version of stasks-0.5.1 for kde 4.3 - you have to download
and install it by hand to get a working stasks Version under kde 4.3
