Hi! Same problem here with ubuntu 9.04 i386, intel G965, no desktop
effects enabled. The only difference is that all the above apply only to
the 2nd user that logs in. The 1st one has no issue at all... If x11 is
selected instead of xv when playing a video then the problem disappears
for the 2nd user.
