Public bug reported:

The default value for the directives VNET_DHCPDAEMON and VNET_DHCPUSER
in /etc/eucalyptus/eucalyptus.conf are not correct for Ubuntu. This is
not such a big deal, as these two directive are ignored when using the
SYSTEM mode (VNET_MODE="SYSTEM"), which is the default on Ubuntu.
However, if you want to change the networking mode to MANAGED, you will
need to change these two directives to value appropriate for Ubuntu
(VNET_DHCPDAEMON="/usr/sbin/dhcpd3" and VNET_DHCPUSER="dhcpd",
respectively). It would be good to have that by default in
eucalyptus.conf.

That is on jaunty, eucalyptus 1.5~bzr266-0ubuntu2.

** Affects: eucalyptus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
