I can only find these versions in the repositories (and I still have the
problem with them installed):

monodevelop                                2.0+dfsg-2ubuntu1                    
monodevelop-debugger-mdb                   2.0-1~ubuntu1                    

Where might I find monodevelop-debugger-mdb 2.0~2ubuntu1?

Do you have any other monodevelop packages installed? I've got
-database, -nunit and -versioncontrol installed as well.
