Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome
Description: Ubuntu jaunty (development branch)
Release: 9.04
gnome:
Installed: (none)
Candidate: 1:2.22.2~4ubuntu6
Version table:
1:2.22.2~4ubuntu6 0
500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/universe Packages
I am using dual monitors on a T60 thinkpad with the amd64 version of
Ubuntu 9.04. I have an Intel 945GM video card that I can enable
acceleration for 1 monitor, but with dual monitors I need to setup a
virtual screen and disable hw acceleration. This also means desktop
effects are disabled. After doing this, I expect to set a background
picture using the Change Desktop Background menu by right-clicking on
the Desktop.
Instead, when I click on a picture, the background only changes to the
particular color or gradient specified at the bottom of the preference
window.
** Affects: meta-gnome2 (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
