Thanks Ahmed!

I've build Ahmed's package in my PPA [1]. I was hoping it would resolve
LP #342332 [2] (not relevant for this bug, but unfortunately it didn't).
For those who are interested, the buildlogs of the build can be found
here: amd64 [3], lpia [4], i386 [5].

For those willing to test the package Ahmed provided, please follow
instructions on how to enable my PPA [6].
