This bug was fixed in the package fast-user-switch-applet -
2.24.0-0ubuntu11

    * Changing GUI string to make shorter to make dialog a better
      size.
    * Making the logout dialogs not have a minimize button on their
      title bars so you can't lose them.  (LP: #356132)
