In my case the easiest way to confirm the lockup issue is to run a video
with xv - starting is enough - and then initiate suspend afterwards. X
should crash after a short time and you should find yourself at the
login screen.

Anyway the green issue was fixed a long time ago and hasn't reappeard
with Intel 2.6.3-ubuntu5 so for my concern this bug could still be
marked as fixed released.
