Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gimp-plugin-registry

On a fully updated Jaunty with the following two packages installed:
 gimp-plugin-registry
 icc-profiles

Steps to see bug:

1. Open an RGB image such as a .jpg image in GIMP
2. Go to Image->Separate->Separate
3. Click to chose the source color space
4. Select any of the icc color profiles (for example select: sRGB IEC61966-2.1)
You will then receive an error message stating:
   "Invalid Profile
Please check the filename, device class, and colorspace."
5. Click "Close" on the error message
6. Click "Cancel" on the color space selection dialog
7. Repeat the same process to select a Destination color space (you will also get the same error message but just ignore it by clicking Close and then Cancel as well.)
8. Once both source and destination color spaces are selected, click "OK" to perform the CMYK color separation. Notice that it works perfectly in spite of the Invalid profile error messages.

Expected steps:
Same as above, but without receiving the "Invalid profile" messages.

Although the separation does work in spite of the error messages, these
error messages will lead a typical user to believe that there is
something wrong with the icc color profile files and therefore the user
will not continue with the above process to actually try and see if it
will work.
