Thank you for reporting this bug. Could you please also attach the following?
- /etc/X11/xorg.conf (if this is changed from the minimum default)
- /var/log/Xorg.0.log
- output of `lspci -vvnn`

Also, can you see if anything is added to /var/log/Xorg.0.log at the
time it blinks? (e.g. by running `wc -l /var/log/Xorg.0.log && sleep 1`
in a loop).
