[Bug 254107] Re: xorg memory leak when changing desktop wallpapers (Gnome)

I've found out!

It's definitely a compiz issue. While changing desktop wallpapers and compiz turned on, there is a memory leak as I explained in my first post here. As soon as I disable compiz and change the wallpaper, all leaked memory is freed and Xorg's memory usage normalizes.
Then, if I enable compiz again, memory leaks again. So it definitely must be a compiz issue, because it happens on both ATI and NVIDIA.

** Also affects: compiz (Ubuntu)
   Importance: Undecided
       Status: New

** Changed in: nvidia-graphics-drivers-173 (Ubuntu)
       Status: Incomplete => Invalid

** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-ati (Ubuntu)
       Status: Incomplete => Invalid
