[Bug 303650] [NEW] KiCAD is not making a menu item

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kicad

When I installed KiCAD on Hardy I don't get a menu item to start the
application. I have to start the program by hand in the terminal or add
a menu item myself.

Ouput of lsb_release -rd:

Package name: kicad
Package version: 0.0.20071129a-1

Please add a .desktop file to the package so that kicad is properly
added to the Application menu.
