[Bug 302370] [NEW] flashplugin-nonfree won't install on 64 bit intrepid

Public bug reported:

"apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree" yields:
"The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  flashplugin-nonfree: Depends: nspluginwrapper (>= 0.9.91.4-2ubuntu1) but it is not going to be installed"

"apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree nspluginwrapper" yields:
"The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  nspluginwrapper: Depends: ia32-libs (>= 1.6) but it is not installable
E: Broken packages"

"apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree nspluginwrapper ia32-libs" yields:
"Package ia32-libs is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
However the following packages replace it:
  lib32nss-mdns lib32z1 lib32ncurses5 lib32bz2-1.0
E: Package ia32-libs has no installation candidate"

my sources.list contains the following:

After installing ia32-libs (and its dependencies) manually from
"http://packages.ubuntu.com/intrepid/ia32-libs", flashplugin-nonfree
installs and works OK.
