If anyone's interested, I managed to get a build of this together, and
have put the Intrepid packages in my PPA in case anyone else would find
them useful. This is utterly unofficial, unsupported, and virtually
untested, although it has been working for me for the past day or so. I
basically tried to figure out the changes made to the version 1 source
to debianize it and have tried to apply those here. Some directories &
stuff have changed, so things like plugins, etc. required a little
tweaking to work. I also downloaded the latest unstable Debian source
package for the plugins (which appear to actually have been authored by
Debian? or perhaps just collected by...) and fixed the directories in
that to work with the other pkgs. My PPA is:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/jsteinhart/ubuntu intrepid main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/jsteinhart/ubuntu intrepid main

The packages are quodlibet, quodlibet-ext, quodlibet-plugins, and
exfalso.
