Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: libnss-ldapd

I have TLS verify client active in LDAP Server and the client only works when I log with root, create a .ldaprc file in /root (root's home) and execute /etc/init.d/nslcd restart
When I say "doesn't works", I mean "getent passwd" doesn't show the entries of ldap, and I can't auth.
I attach nss-ldap.conf and .ldaprc
The version of libnss-ldapd package is 0.6.5 (ubuntu 8.10).
With the same configuration libnss-ldap worked it for me, although after a time it crashes and I have to restart nscd. This is why I installed nslcd
I suppose the problem is that nss-ldap.conf doesn't "understand":
tls_cert /etc/ssl/certs/ldap.client.pem
tls_key /etc/ssl/certs/ldap.client.key.pem
I have reported to adejong, so I apologize if he received this message twice

** Affects: nss-ldapd (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
