[Bug 301218] Re: "User Switcher" has quit unexpectedly

Nothing gets written to ~/.xsession-errors when this occurs. (I watched
it with tail -f )

When i tried it with another user account, i got a dialog box with this
error the first time:

The panel encountered a problem while loading "OAFIID:GNOME_FastUserSwitchApplet".

Do you want to delete the applet from your configuration?

If i tried to add it manually, the behavior was the same as with my own
account.
