[Bug 300917] [NEW] failed build using module-assistant

Public bug reported:

I couldn't manage to build kqemu-source using module-assistant. It gave
me a message about being unable to find the source code, even though I
had installed kqemu-source and followed the instructions in
README.Debian.

I cd'ed to the source direction and ./configure && make install and it
appears to work fine. But the module-assistant technique seems to be
broken.

This was on a system recently upgraded to Ubuntu Intrepid.
