[Bug 300147] [NEW] I can't install the package flashplugin-nonfree for AMD64: conflicting packages

Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree

I have  Ubuntu 8.04-Hardy. The version 9 of the flashplugin-nonfree was
working and I tried to install the version 10, using 'dpkg -i --force-
all install_flash_player_10_linux.deb' but I didn't succeed, so I wanted
to switch back to version 9 (flashplugin-
nonfree_9.0.124.0ubuntu2_amd64.deb), but I couldn't. I got the following
errors:

 dpkg: regarding flashplugin-nonfree_9.0.124.0ubuntu2_amd64.deb containing flashplugin-nonfree:
 adobe-flashplugin conflicts with flashplugin-nonfree
  flashplugin-nonfree (version 9.0.124.0ubuntu2) is to be installed.
dpkg: error processing flashplugin-nonfree_9.0.124.0ubuntu2_amd64.deb (--install):
 conflicting packages - not installing flashplugin-nonfree
Errors were encountered while processing:
 flashplugin-nonfree_9.0.124.0ubuntu2_amd64.deb

If I run 'apt-cache policy flashplugin-nonfree' I get:

flashplugin-nonfree:
  Installed: (none)
  Candidate: 9.0.124.0ubuntu2
  Version table:
     9.0.124.0ubuntu2 0
        500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/multiverse Packages

I tried to use the Synaptic Package Manager, but I got

E: /var/cache/apt/archives/flashplugin-
nonfree_9.0.124.0ubuntu2_amd64.deb: conflicting packages - not
installing flashplugin-nonfree

and even I remove the file in the archives folder I get the same errors
again.
