[Bug 292900] Re: webcam-server returns the error "No supported colour palette found."

I am experiencing the same problem, but only since the upgrade to
intrepid. Webcam-server used to work without problems before (graphics
card: ProSavage S3). What has intrepid changed? Does anyone know a good
alternative to webcam-server?
