Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: grub2
grub-set-default --help gives the following :-
~$ grub-set-default --help
Usage: grub-set-default [OPTION] entry
Set the default boot entry for GRUB.
-h, --help print this message and exit
-v, --version print the version information and exit
--root-directory=DIR Use the directory DIR instead of the root directory
ENTRY is a number or the special keyword `default\'.
There is also no documentation for the same either in /usr/share/doc/grub2/ or/and
/usr/share/doc/grub-common
There is also no manpage for grub-set-default as well so how is a user
supposed to change it.
>From what I could figure out it basically changes stuff in
/etc/default/grub
