[Bug 299655] [NEW] Graphical issues with Intel GM965

Public bug reported:

I have several problems (since the desktop effects are available for
Intel GM965) with Compiz & the X.org Intel driver. If I use the full
screen mode, i get graphical errors (for example in F-Spot), nothing is
clickable or bad effects are displayed. The easiest way to see what
appears is to view the video here:

Sometimes everything freezes, if I use 3d applications like XMBC and
view a video. I get no errors if I disable the desktop effects. The
problem appears since Gutsy Gibbon.

The lspci-output is attached.

OS: Intrepid Ibex (with latest updates)
System: Toshiba Satellite P200 1E9
