[Bug 298925] [NEW] A click on the vlc icon in the systray does nothing

Public bug reported:

To always reproduce the bug:
- Open vlc.
- Then click on the "Show Desktop" button in the Gnome panel.

Now any click on the vlc icon in the systray zone does nothing.

Expected result: when clicking on the vlc icon in the systray zone, vlc
should appear or hide.

My config:
vlc 0.9.4
Gnome 2.24.1
Ubuntu 8.10
