Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: mythtv

Something about mythtv-backend refuses to delete itself during every
upgrade from one version of Ubuntu to another. It's annoying as hell and
I end up having to comment out everything in mythtv-backend.prerm and
run Synaptic again. If there's some kind of permissions issue I'd like
to know what it is.
